Kara's little sister! Poll!

So, I think that maybe I'm embarking on a fic in which Kara is introduced in some way (at the end of the Worlds) to a younger half sister (by way of her father) that she previously knew nothing about. The sister will likely be aged 14-17, depending on how you lot feel about it. BUT, as is always the conflict when randomly adding a non-canon character, there's a lot of potential for this character to suck. So, that's where I need your help. I sort of like the idea of Kara coming off New Caprica with Kacey, giving Cottle the story Leoben gave her, and then discovering that they're half-sisters. It gives the story a really great AU twist and gives Kara a family connection who isn't immediately competitive.

Of the other fandom options, I like Kaylee the most. They're both very competent, but in quite different areas. Also, I think Kaylee would be very good for Kara--not competitive and exactly the type of person to call Kara out on the head games she plays with herself. As for Lee, I think they would get along swimmingly (because who actually manages to dislike Kaylee). I can see them having lots of conversations trying to figure out Kara (to Kara's enormous irritation), but not getting romantic.
