Kiv, thank you so much, love. It was so much fun to devise an alternative universe where Kara and Lee could come together earlier on. My thought was to imagine how Lee might feel after Maelstrom...and how after Kara's return after that, he was just so thankful for her return, and she was so thankful for his trust in her, and that brought them together. So I tried to make something like that dynamic happen earlier on.
