There's no doubt about it that pilots are really struggling here, but I like to think that as they are, they have a degree of maturity that allows them to come together, at least in some small way. Like you said, it isn't forever necessarily. There's no commitment. But they enjoy each other and are willing to take some emotional risks. When I wrote the sex/fucking scene, I wanted to capture their desperation for and connection to each other. They are inseperable in any timeline. <3 <3 Thank you again, dearest.
