Whooooooa, this is good. Really good. I'm so intrigued and excited to read more - you create a lot of questions for the reader, which is always a good sign in the first chapter. Kara's and Lee's voices are very authentic, and I'm glad to see Helo mentioned - his friendship with Kara is one of my favorite things besides Kara/Lee. Excellent start.
