I can't wait to read more! I love the "edited by Lee" letter, and it actually made me like him more. The tallying up of Laura's recent life was quite compelling and didn't feel expositiony, but got out there how things have been for her, her state of mind, her struggles.
And notion of Ellen being BFFs with Laura, plus her in-Temple wingman, was awesome.
